Back to work, back to snow

As much as I loathe to return from our vacation, reality dictates that we do. So, back we go to Chicago, where the first snow has already fallen and the high temperature of the day is still below freezing. Of all days to leave a coat, I choose the day when it actually snowed, bummer. I was forced to buy a coat on my way to work.

On the subject of my new job, in case you're interested, I started last Monday. Everything was all set for me; new desk, new phone, new laptop, new business cards, network account, email account -- everything has been in readiness, I'm impressed. I've been there three days and I've been exposed to technologies I know of but hasn't really had hands-on project experience before: VB.NET (I've always used C# in all my .NET projects), Flash (action scripting), Shockwave, CVS, Nant, etc. I'm really looking forward to the next few months.
